Fitter/ Assembly Technician Assembly & Service (m/f/d)

As a fitter or installation technician for installation & service at Wälischmiller Engineering GmbH you will work directly on site and be responsible for the professional assembly, commissioning and maintenance of our manipulators, robotic solutions and special machines. You will ensure that all systems function smoothly, support our customers with technical challenges and thus actively contribute to the quality and reliability of our products - in an innovative and team-oriented environment.

Tasks/ qualification

  • Assembly of components in various sizes (from small to large assemblies)
  • Mechanical and electrical final assembly according to drawings, parts lists and technical specifications
  • Carrying out worldwide maintenance, repairs and service activities for customers in high-security areas
  • Analyzing and rectifying technical faults on assemblies
  • Carrying out functional tests, quality checks and complete documentation of the work results
  • Preparation and execution of customer acceptance tests, also in English
  • Commissioning of systems in the factory and at the customer's site
  • Close cooperation with design, quality assurance and production
  • Compliance with all safety guidelines and quality standards

Profile

  • Completed technical training (e.g. industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, precision mechanic or comparable)
  • Experience in the assembly and servicing of assemblies or complete machines is an advantage
  • Good mechanical and ideally also electrical knowledge
  • Willingness to travel for worldwide service assignments
  • Structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability and high quality orientation
