The A200 is a manipulator for remote-controlled handling of objects and tools in smaller cells and boxes, which enables maximum operating accuracy thanks to its precise and simultaneous design. The manipulator consists of a feed-through, a working arm (also known as the „hot“ arm) and an operating arm (also known as the „cold“ arm). The arms of the A200 each consist of a shoulder, elbow and wrist.
The wall bushing connects the „hot“ and „cold“ arms and is permanently installed in the shielding wall. It forms a protected barrier between the operator and working side of the hot cell.
As an option, the feed-through can be made gas-tight. In combination with a protective cover (booting), the A200 is therefore also suitable for contaminated or particularly sensitive environments. The operator remains fully protected during the entire handling process.
The movements are specified on the „cold“ arm and transferred simultaneously and proportionally to the „hot“ arm. The direct mechanical connection creates a precise 1:1 motion transmission. The object to be handled can be felt immediately by the operator, which ensures maximum control and a safe working experience.
Ergonomics, ease of use and flexibility
The counterbalance reduces the forces acting on the operator - especially when the working arm is fully extended. Ergonomically shaped handles support comfortable, low-fatigue working, even during long periods of use.
Thanks to its extensive range of accessories and interchangeable tools, the A200 can be flexibly adapted to different applications. It is suitable for small and medium-sized cells as well as for glove boxes or shielded work areas with high safety and hygiene standards.
