Your mission?

As an employee in quality inspection / measurement technician at Wälischmiller Engineering GmbH, you will ensure compliance with our high quality standards. You will test and measure precision-manufactured components and assemblies, document measurement results and analyze deviations. With your technical expertise, you will support the optimization of our production processes and make a significant contribution to maintaining the quality of our manipulators, robotic solutions and special machines at the highest level.

Your tasks at HWM

Measurement technology and quality inspection

  • Carrying out dimensional checks on individual parts with our 3D coordinate measuring machine (ZEISS) and dimensional checks on components and assemblies with hand-held measuring equipment
  • Programming and operating the coordinate measuring machine
  • Carrying out incoming goods, intermediate and final inspections and documenting the measurement results
  • Monitoring and, if necessary, adjustment of measuring equipment

Testing and acceptance of assemblies and systems

  • Carrying out assembly checks and functional tests on electromechanical assemblies
  • Preparation and implementation of internal device and system acceptance tests
  • Organization and support of customer acceptance tests in cooperation with project management, construction and assembly

Quality documentation and tracking

  • Creation and maintenance of test instructions and test protocols
  • Documentation of test results and creation of error reports
  • Planning and follow-up of rework in coordination with the departments involved

Your profile

  • Completed technical training, e.g. industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician, precision mechanic or similar
  • Experience in quality inspection, metrology or mechanical engineering
  • Experience in working with coordinate measuring machines, ideally ZEISS
  • Confident handling of technical drawings, tolerances and dimensional chains
  • Knowledge of ISO-GPS (Geometric Product Specification) is an advantage
  • Good technical understanding of mechanical assemblies; basic electrical knowledge is an advantage
  • Good German language skills and the ability to communicate in English on technical topics with international customers
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability and high quality orientation
